Cornelius "Con" Dennis Murphy (born 3 September 1908 in Aberfan — died 13 July 1964 in Leeds) was a Welsh dual-code international rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s and '40s who at representative level played rugby union (RU) for Wales, and at club level for Cross Keys RFC, playing at Hooker, i.e. number 2,[1] and at representative level played rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for Acton and Willesden, and Leeds, playing at Hooker, i.e. number 9, during the era of contested scrums.[2]

International honours

Con Murphy won caps for Wales (RU) while at Cross Keys RFC in 1935 against England, Scotland, and Ireland,[3] and won caps for Wales (RL) while at Leeds 1939…1944 5-caps.[4]
